This video titled “A Day Made of Glass” was made by Corning, “the world leader in glass and ceramics”, and envisions a possible future for mankind. Corning Incorporated, best known for their Gorilla glass technology, is the world leader in specialty glass and ceramics. Drawing on more than 150 years of materials science and process engineering knowledge, Corning creates and makes keystone components that enable high-technology systems for consumer electronics, mobile emissions control, telecommunications and life sciences. Set on the same day, “A Day Made of Glass 2” follows the same futuristic family as they journey through day, but instead focuses on the father and two daughters. As the characters work, learn, and play, the applications for specialty glass extend into the classroom, hospital, and home of the near future.

Glass is the essential material enabling this new world.
